Lazy, salute or rale. All titles denote the same - territories with a typical scattered settlement. In our region, they are kicks that attract weekend chalupaers and all who prefer the loneliness and tranquility of the natural environment.

The Kopanic region borders the Carpathians - in the north of the White Mountains, in the south-east turn of the Small. Its center is Myjava or Metropola under the straw, as she once called her writer Zuzka Zguriška in her homonymous novel. The Kopaničiarsky region extends to Nové Mesto nad Váhom, which is its northern border. Within this area there are hundreds of kickers. Sprawling houses with architecture from the early 20th century belong to the local color, which is increasingly being discovered by people from the urban environment.

TRADITIONS

Traditions are inherently connected with the Coptic region, even through the original folklore. A number of folklore ensembles and groups are still active here, traditional culture also promotes interesting events at the Gajdos Court in Turej Lúke or the craft courses that are being prepared by the Myjava Center for Traditional Culture. Every year, the International Folklore Festival also takes place in Myjave, featuring a number of high-quality domestic and foreign performers.

A number of traditional costumes have been preserved on the dances, which are characterized by colorful simplicity and even decoration. Myjava belonged to regions where there was still a strong evangelism, which influenced the very form of the local costume, which differed from the surrounding Catholic regions with colorful and distinctly decorated traditional garments.

PEOPLE

Typical decoration of local female and costume costumes was a malleable tattoo lace, also known as a knitted hibiscus in Myjavská hills. Her beauty, in March of this year, could have seen the whole landscape. Together with the Vajnorský ornament, she wrote it on the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovakia. The bobbin lace from the Myjavská hill area belongs to our unique. Thanks to delicate white knit yarns on the tying net, it is fragile, airy and delicate. In the soccer field, her work has a long history - it has been discovered in the 80s of the 19th century and this art has not disappeared. The unique technique of bobbin is currently used by the Brezová pod Bradlom Club of Breast Milk and the Regional Lacy Club in Krajné.

Although today they are no longer wearing my costume at Myjave, the generations of cops are joining their own dawn. This is especially known for its hardness - it forgets the softness and the double voice ô. However, you can find a common language with your home while drinking a good brandy. Myjavská or Bošáka Slivovitz became famous far beyond the borders of Myjavsko, while this distillate was among the seven wonders of the Kopanic region. In addition to burning, however, local fruit is also used for other purposes - there are fruit-flavored ovens in the region and traditional cooking of plum melk.

NATURE

You can explore the beauties of Kopanice region by car, by foot, but also by bicycle. Myjava Hill, Little and White Carpathians and Povazsky Inovec offer wonderful views of the region below Bradl and Veľká Javorina. There are also several marked hiking trails and biking trails, which will lead you to, for example, the ruins of the church in Haluzice, Branč castle, Čachtice and Beckov, or to the mound of Milan Rastislav Štefánik at Bradle. In the upcoming winter season, you can choose to go for cross-country skiing. You can even get information on maintaining them through the Mobile Carpathians application on the White Carpathians.
