Agrotourism is becoming a modern holiday trend in Slovakia. It is not only for families with children, but also for those who want to try the life of our ancestors. Papradnanska Valley has the ideal conditions in this respect, which has also become the center of interest of foreign tourists.

"When someone does it with love, that's what they are and the results are, but it can not be done either," says Anna Beníková, the owner of the picking in Papradna, who has been developing agrotourism in this region for years. She started out with one guest, later expanding her business with a colibus that came directly to the farm. It is a favorite place for weddings or family celebrations, but it is also open to the public coming from different countries of the world. "At present we have over 1000 sheep that are now bored, so we will not get them until the mark. Then we produce different products - fresh cheese, smoked cheese, 100% bryndza, yarn or pile, which we sell here. And because we do agrotourism, we must have horses. We use these for wearing children, but also for riding lessons, "he adds.

Agrotourism is of great importance to it. "There is nothing similar about the neighborhood, and we have literally flooded over people this summer. I can not imagine I would do something else because this is my heart, "says Anna Beníková.

Salaš in Papradne has been part of the agrotouristic project named Bačova cesta for several years, along with a chalet in the town of Pružina. It connects the huts in the Žilina and Trenčín regions - each year in May, when the hunting season opens. Thanks to this event, the public can learn more about the mining and the wilderness that belong to the cultural heritage of our ancestors. At the same time, visitors can taste quality Slovak dairy products.
