The DRAČIA LÉGIA Sports Club is the first dragonboat club in Slovakia .

We are glad that this sport is very popular in Slovakia . It gets more and more attention and the sports teams are constantly growing . Every year, several races are organized for racers , students , amateurs , holidaymakers or children . Our activities in Trenčín in Váh are mainly concentrated in Autocamping Na Ostrove, with the possibility of accommodation directly in the campsite.

About Dragonboating

The history of paddle race on dragon boats began more than 2,200 years ago in China and is covered with a legend about the popular folk poet Chiu-Yuan. Modern racing history begins in 1976 when Hong Kong's first dragon boat festival took place. From there, sport has spread rapidly across the globe. Currently, this discipline is actively engaging over 50 million athletes from more than 50 countries.
