As a young child in a wooden collie, the village of Zliechov is peacefully located in the coliseum of Strážovské vrchy. SPORT AND RELAX

In the middle of the Strážovské vrchy in the erosive basin at the foot of the highest peak of Strážov lies the village of Zliechov. Two kilometers from the village is Ski Centrum Zliechov. The resort offers ski for beginners and advanced skiers. The area has five slopes with a total length of 3.3km. The longest ski slope measures 1700m and is easy to handle. Also two short 200 and 300-meter slopes. Two eight-meter slopes show moderate and heavy difficulty. The maximum terrain elevation is 195m. Ski resort Zliechov offers good opportunities for snowboarding and cross-country skiing. It also has a toboggan run.

The village of Zliechov is determined by its location and natural dances to be the starting point for attractive tourist trips along the marked hiking trails and biking trails. From Zliechova you can take a hike to the Fačkovské sedlo, Lanový vrch, Riedek, Strážov and Javorinka saddle. Cyclists have the opportunity to choose from the following cyclo-circles: Bojnický cykluruhruh, Belianská spojka and Chvojnická spojka.

We invite the visitors of Zliechov to visit the Roman Catholic Church of Sts. Vavrinca, about which the legend is said to have been originally built elsewhere, but at night it was from incomprehensible causes that all building material was moved to the place where the church stands today. This strange phenomenon has been repeated, and therefore the villagers have decided to build the church wherever they want to have mysterious powers. The Zelenov rarity is protected by trees about four hundred years old. They are two white and slimy saplings. In the cavity of cowardice, they concealed soldiers during the fighting in the SNP. The pride of the region is, in turn, a costaire costume, which you can admire at the Museum of Zleichov's Costume, which is located in the building of the General Office.

If you go for a walk around the village, try to taste something typical of castles, let them like it, offer them with zlievsky raw threads. They are made from non-fat cheese, hand-drawn and steamed. Tasty and juicy.

Medvedia skala was named after our greatest brown bear predator who lives in the Strážovské vrchy. From the rocks there is a magnificent view of the entire valley.
