He glared at the Bezovca slopes. Under Kostolny hora he landed and remembered the foresters who ended their life-drive in their beloved forests. And he's flying again and whistling fire from his eyes. You stopped at Marhate. The viewfinder gave him a magnificent view.

SPORT AND RELAX

Bezovec Ski Resort is located in Považský Inovec and is about 20km from Piestany. It is one of the most accessible ski resorts in Slovakia and is medium sized. The resort was awarded three stars, confirming its leading position among the ski resorts in Slovakia. The name of the center is derived from the Bezovec hill, which is part of it. The base station is located at an altitude of 480m and the highest point of the center is 748m nm. There are four technically snowy and two partly snow-covered slopes with a focus on all the world sides. The trails are, for their diversity of difficulty, predestined for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders. The most challenging are the "Rookie" slopes with a length of 1,100m, an elevation of 288m and a slope of 18%, and a "Fivefold" with a length of 500m, an elevation of 160m and a slope of 34%. For those who enjoy skiing under the starry sky, we have good management. The resort is in operation even in the evenings, from Wednesday to Saturday and during holidays and holidays every day.

You can make use of the ski rental and ski service. Traditionally, there are public slalom competitions in the "Bezovec Cup" slalom. The organizers donated them to Miška Pikusa. Surroundings of the ski area provide opportunities for cross-country skiing on 0,5km and 1km. Ski tourism supports the designated routes from Bezovec to Skalina, Tlstú hora and Panská Javorina. Directly in the center of the ski resort there is a fully functional cottage with nine beds capacity. For the more demanding holidaymakers, there is a hotel and pension in Nová Lehote.

Považský Inovec is an excellent destination for hiking and cycling. Bezovec is a great starting point for the ruins of the castles of Tematín, Beckov and Topolčianske castles. Other tourist trails lead to Dastinská Pine, Mokva Spring, Podhradie or Inovec Hill.
