Within 40 km, there is the Červený kamen castle, accessible to the public, originally medieval, but modified in the Baroque style from 1649-1663.

During the summer months it is nice to visit the swimming pool under Ostriežom in Brezová pod Bradlom, the swimming pool with a larger swimming pool in Myjava or the Eva swimming pool in Piešťany. Also suitable for summer sports are natural reservoirs, Kunovská dam near Senica, Sĺňava dam near Piestany, or Zelená voda near Novy Meste nad Váhom.

In the winter months there is the possibility of skiing in the Veľká Javorina (970 m), where are the ski lifts and Holubyho cottage; Bezovci near Piešťany (758 m) - ski lift, restaurant, Stará Myjava (375 m) - ski lift for adults and children, Bradlo (543 m) - children's ski lift.
