Kostolík on the canyon tower Čížik
Sádok originates part of the village of Klatovy Nová Ves and interested in sacral monuments finds it only 11 km east of Topoľčian. Kostolík can not be overlooked - see him on the hill of Chríb already from Bošian.
The beginnings of the Virgin Mary-Gothic Church of Our Lady of the Queen of Angels are likely to go further than in the early 12th century. When the monastery was built, it used to be a monastery temple, but probably it was destroyed by the Tatars during its invasion in the years 1241-1242. The semi-shrouded object, which survived only the northeast of the ship and the sanctuary, restored around the middle of the 13th century. Even in the Gothic period, the northern sacristy was also praised.
In such a form, the church of the following century lasted until it did not enter the Renaissance rebuilding in the 17th century. The Roman tower was replaced by a powerful tower with a mural helmet. In the church ship they built crypts for several major local families.
In 2002, the Emergency of the Church encouraged the establishment of the civic association SlovakiaIncognita, which started with its rescue. In 2007, the survey revealed the fresco decoration in the interior, the oldest of which dates back to the presbytery of the first half of the 13th century (the discovery of the fragments of the Romanesque plaster with the fresco decoration - part of the face, detail of the wing) and in the case of the ship until the break of the 15th and 16th centuries. The restoration works were completed in 2009, after which the frescoes were preserved.
