The beauteous beauty of the bloody coral

The Draškovičovský manor house was built in 1668 and enlarged at the end of the 17th century. Focused on the history and ethnography of Čachtíc and its surroundings. The exhibition is a collection of historical weapons, period documents, clothing and jewelery, a set of portraits of local noble and earthly people, exhibits found in historical and archeological research of objects and reconstruction works. Folk culture is reminiscent of ceramic vessels and artistic artifacts.

Since the church is in Čachtice, there can be no connection with the bloody crown ... There is an extraordinary interest in the exhibition "Alžbeta Báthoryová - Krutosťvrytá v čipkách". There is a reconstructed garment in it according to the period of the show. A replica of white-and-white dresses was made possible by the Trencian Museum according to a picture from the National Museum in Budapest. They made them of materials used in the time of the Count's life. They lack embroidery, collar, underwear. The interior is suitably complemented by the rare paintings of Elizabeth Báthory and her husband Palatine Juraj Thurza.
