In the area of ​​the airport, on 6 - 9 July 2017, the next edition of the internationally famous multi-genre festival took place. Only a few events can show their region as Trendian Pohoda. Even her 21st year was not disappointing and attracted nearly 30,000 visitors to Trencin to enjoy a relaxing weekend.

The name of the festival has already traditionally reflected the true atmosphere of this place, which for three days turned into a carefree world full of excellent music, interesting people, celebrities and many attractions. As usual, the program was full of popular and less commercial artists and offered visitors a wide range of experiences. For example, the indie rock band alt-J, the winner of Grammy Solange, Birdy, Jake Bugg, MIA, or the virally known Yorvis, have been on the podium. From the Slovak scene, the performance of songs from the cult album of the trio Lasica, Satinský and Filip entitled "We were eleven" was a remarkable performance bringing together a number of quality Slovak artists. Other well-known Slovak musicians who attracted many fans were Polemic, Para, Billy Barman, Free Europe, Music from Mars and many others. Not only the music program but also many accompanying events ensured that nobody was bored for a moment. Discussions, lectures, dance schools, creative workshops, or presentation stands offering various competitions touched festival visitors who have not just been watching one of many concerts.

One of the places offering entertainment was also the stand of the regional tourism organization (KOCR) Trenčín region . "In our stand, visitors could engage their creativity and color the over-sized photo-studio to test their knowledge of the Trenčín region in a quiz quiz that was of great interest. The quiz was played in a playful form on the tablet, and the display of continuous score encouraged visitors to compete. In addition to the fun, we also had new KOCR Cycling Maps and information brochures presenting the attractiveness of the region, " KOCR said at the Eva Fryvaldská Festival, executive director of the KOCR Trenčín Region.

"Pohoda is our biggest festival and attracts a huge number of visitors every year from Trenčín, not only from Slovakia, but also from abroad. Our goal is to show that Pohoda is not the only country known to us, but that there are also many unique natural or cultural attractions that are worth seeing, " said KOCR Trenčín Region Juraj Gerlici .

The Pohoda Festival has long been among the best festivals in Central Europe, which the organizers demonstrate every year by constantly raising the standard. Of course, ATMs, hot water showers, flush toilets, relaxation zones, phone chargers, as well as enough refreshment stalls and various gastronomic specialties. Also KOCR Trenčín region is added to those who believe that the next year will be just as successful and will attract a lot of people, who will be able to introduce us again from the Trenčín region.
