The Kúpeľov Mansion Trenčianske Teplice got a new dress. In the immediate vicinity of the rare thermal springs, around 1740, according to the Italian Renaissance designs, he built the Count Jozef Illesházy, who had used it in part at that time, and in part chartered the spa guest.

Even today, after about 280 years, the historic building serves spa guests, as its complexes hide pools with thermal water healing, spa treatment facilities, and the administrative center of the Baths.

Thanks to financial support from the Ministry of Culture of Slovakia, the Spa of Trencianske Teplice managed to reconstruct the facade of the building from the side of the Spa Square during the last two years. The original "Castellum" boasts a renewed exterior, which corresponds to modern times on the one hand, while at the same time it fully respects and preserves its historical features.

"We realize that besides the daily care of our swimming pools, spa facilities or accommodation facilities also require the exteriors of our buildings. We are glad that after the reconstruction of the facade of the SINA building, we have successfully successfully completed the reconstruction of the Kaštiela facade in part from the pedestrian zone. I believe that our present look will be appreciated by our visitors, not only during the Spa in the region. In the upcoming year, we would continue to renew the rest of the facade, but everything will depend on our financial possibilities. The year 2019 will bring new business challenges to business entities, " said Michal Vojtaš, general director of the Kupel.

Spa Trenčianske Teplice in the year 2016 completed the complete replacement of the roofing of this historic dominance of the Spa Square and in the past year the reconstruction of the individual buildings of the ground floor of the Kaštieľa was also remarkable.
