When it comes to Trenčín, many automatically give it a "city of fashion". The Fair, which lived the metropolis of Považia since 1963, returns to the scene after ten years.

Only two presenting companies - Merina and Clothing Works Trenčín - started their exhibition of their time. From year to year, however, the exhibitors grew and the phenomenon "Trenčín, the city of fashion" became known to people far-away. Preparations for the 45th year were taken by Jan Jankovič and Daniel Lelkes. At the Expo Center in Trenčín, on September 22, a professional and lay public will be welcomed. Slovak designers, hand-made producers will be introduced and there will also be no fashion shows. Among the accompanying events, you will find the Zones of Young, but also a retro fashion show from the 40's to the 80's.

"Every secondary school dedicated to fashion designing nominates two students - fashion designers who make their own fashion collection. The assignment will not be specific, every fashion designer decides in which style he will create a collection and how to call his fashion show, "said Renáta Bieliková, co-organizer of the Regional Leisure Time Center in Trenčín, one of the accompanying events. The unique fashion fair also supported the Trenčín self-government region. In the castle barracks, the owner of which is county, at the same time there will be representative meetings related to the event.

Also this time, "Trenčín, město módy" will appreciate the best in the category Top clothing company of the year, hand-made manufacturer of the year or Best Product of the Year. The award "Golden Fatima", which belongs to the exhibition, will be decided by the jury led by fashion designer Boris Hanec.
