Lantern procession of St. Martina

!CAUTION CHANGE! - The event is being moved from Friday, November 10. on Friday 16.11.2023 at 17.00!

On Friday , November 16, 2023, the streets of Trenčín will light up with the lights of the Lantern Parade of St. Martin . The entire route will be marked by the friendly gesture of St. Martin, who shared his cloak with the poor during his journey. And with that, he lit a lamp of hope and love in him.

The lantern procession will start at 17:00 and will go from the Parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin through the streets to Mierové námestie , where participants will be able to watch a short theatrical performance.

It is recommended to bring your own lantern, in case you do not manage to secure your own, the organizers from the Family Center will provide you with a lantern.
