The Regional Tourism Organization (KOCR) The Trenčín region has prepared for the summer months (1.6.2018 - 8.9.2018) an entertaining tourist-learning game "Krížom krajom za 100 dní".

The traveler's contest is a place of attraction in the Trenčín region. Among the selected tourist sites you can find castles, cultural and natural monuments, museums or various events.

- 5 events: Šašo Becko děti , Musical "Who gets the Bojnice castle?" , ART IN PARK 2018 , Castle Ghosts , Mucky Stuff

- 8 localities: catholic underground, MR Štefánik Mohyla, Kostolecká tiesňava, Dohňany Lookout Tower, Bojnice's Foreclosure Museum, Partizánske Observatory, Glass Museum in Valaská Belej, Spring Dúpna Cave

- 3 quiz questions

- 4 photo albums

On a 100-day mission, contestants need a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) and a freely available ODYWYME app that they can download for free at App Store or Google Play. The app is also available in offline mode so contestants are not restricted by the availability of an Internet connection.

For each site or event visited, the competitor obtains a specified number of points added to the application. Overall, the game includes 4 types of tasks - GEO-LOCATION, GEO-LOCATION, GEO-PHOTO, and GEO-QUIZ. The winner of the competition is the player who can collect the highest number of points. Reward and motivation are tempting prizes:

- Weekend stay for a 4-member family in Agropenzión Adam in Podkylave. The stay includes a half-board for 4 people, access to the swimming pool or free parking.

- Experienced accommodation in the house on the tree in Trenčianske Teplice for 4 persons for 1 night. Accomodation in the tree house will be enjoyed by the winner along with breakfast.

Participants are also prepared for prizes to be awarded on a continuous basis, always at the end of the competition month. The entrance to the Trenčiansky castle, the Beckov Castle or the Aquila Falcons area in Bojnice will be won by nine enthusiasts.

The "Cross country 100 days" game, powered by a mobile app, is complemented by a travel notebook in printed form, which is dedicated to the youngest tourists in particular. They can be used to mark the visited places and to complete the prepared tasks. Traveler's notebook is available at the KOCR Trenčín Region, K 7282 / 20A, 911 01 Trenčín, in the Trenčín Information and Cultural Center or in the Tourist Information Center in Trenčianske Teplice.

The competition starts on Friday, June 1, 2018. The first event for which the contestant can win 25 points will take place on June 2 and 3, 2018 at the Beckov Castle under the name of Šašo Becko children .
