Our national revivalist Ľudovít Štúr, who was a passionate traveler, also knew about it. He did not let his birth chest. His travelogue "Cesta po Považí" inspired the regional tourism organization (KOCR) Trenčín region to create a new summer game, thanks to which you will have the entire region in the palm of your hand.

Every enthusiast of an active vacation, an improved lazy person or an energetic enthusiast-discoverer of hidden and visible natural beauties can become a part of the experiential summer game ŠTÚR TÚR . It is enough if you take a backpack with you, which at the end of the journey will be full of new events, knowledge and experienced adventures. In the course of two months, the brave will conquer 10 monuments, peaks or dominants, which have often amazed even Štúr himself with their beauty.

On your wanderings with Ľudovít Štúr, you will find yourself at 4 castles – Považské, Beckovské, Čachtické and Uhrovec castle. You can easily listen to their history even without the services of a guide, through a unique table with a QR code, which are located at all castles.

"The fun game ŠTÚR TÚR will take those interested, in addition to castles, to lookouts and to several peaks. The 6-story Púchovská dolina Observatory, located between the villages of Dohňany and Zubák, in the middle of the forests of Tlstej hora, undoubtedly belongs to the most beautiful lookouts in the Trenčín region. The beautiful views themselves encourage tourists to explore the wider area," commented the executive director of KOCR Trenčín region, Eva Frývaldská .

When visiting Trenčianske Teplice, you will also visit the Jeleň viewpoint, which even small children can easily conquer. The pleasant walk to the lookout is varied with relaxing gazebos, a small cave or a mountain well.

With rich views that you will never get tired of, you will continue to the Štefánik Lookout in Trenčín, to which the red tourist sign from Mierový námestie will lead you. ŠTÚR TÚR would not be complete if the 10 attractions did not include the birthplace of Ľudovít Štúr and Alexander Dubček in Uhrovec, after visiting which you only need to walk the path to the castle and in one day manage 2 competition places.

From Nitrianske Rudno, you can take the Franő Madva nature trail to Rokoš Hill, the photo of which will stand out beautifully in the family album and on social networks. Štúr's rock in Stará Tura completes the list of attractions. "It is said that it became the place of secret meetings between Štúr, who was caught by the Hungarian authorities at the time, and the local evangelical pastor, who tried to help his entire family. These events are commemorated by a plaque on the rock," revealed Eva Frývaldská.
