Trenčín Region - is the name of the new two-month domestic tourism promotion, which starts in May 2016 in the Trenčín Region. The publisher is the Regional Tourism Organization (KOCR) Trenčín Region. Just these days, the first issue of newspapers is distributed to cities, municipalities and organizations in the founding jurisdiction of the Trenčín Self-governing Region (TSK).
The Trenčín region comes out in full color on 20 pages, free of charge and in a pressed load of 100,000 pieces. "A substantial part of it goes to the boxes, to all the municipalities of the county up to 3000 inhabitants. In larger towns and cities, people find newspapers in public places directly at municipal, municipal offices. The same applies to secondary schools, cultural facilities and other TSK organizations, "reminded the Executive Director of KOCR Trenčín region Eva Frývaldská.

According to her, newspaper publishing is part of the approved TSK development and support concept. "The two-month Trenčín region presents history and present, folk traditions, customs and presents important personalities and extraordinary people from the Trenčín region. It also includes invitations to social, cultural events, useful information about life in our region, discovering forgotten places in the region. We have an experienced editorial team headed by editor-in-chief Radovan Stoklas, but the inhabitants of the region can also contribute to the content of the newspaper, "added Frývaldská.

Newspaper is also welcomed by Trenčiansky župan Jaroslav Baška. "They are historically the first newspapers with nationwide competence in our region, without a policy and with emphasis on the promotion of tourism. The two-month Trencin region officially saw the light of the world on Monday, May 2, 2016 before the Meeting of the TSK Embassy. The land of the Cachy underground, one of the new tourist attractions of the Trenčín Region, the newspaper was symbolically introduced by the chairman KOCR Juraj Gerlici, the director of the KOCR Eva Fryvaldská, TSK chairman Jaroslav Baška, the chairman of the committee for regional development and tourism at the TSK deputy chairman Ján Cipov and even "Báthoryčka "- the central figure of history and the front page of the first quarter of Trenčín region.
The electronic version of the two-month period is publicly available on the KOCR website www.trencinregion.sk and the TSK website www.tsk.sk. Several municipalities, cities and interest organizations in the Trenčín region have already requested their publication on the web sites.
