After a year, again in the summer, the regional tourism organization (KOCR) Trenčín region promises unforgettable experiences with a summer tourist game. The hit this summer in the Trenčín region will be swings. "Swing Search" will entertain young and old and will fill the family photo album with beautiful memories.

"10 swings in nature across the region and 10 fields on the illustrated map of the Trenčín region represent a challenge this summer, especially for parents with children who are looking for inspiration for trips during the summer holidays. All swings are unique and set in an attractive natural environment and there is a hidden letter on each swing, which must be marked on the map. The youngest ones will be accompanied during the search by the story of the elf Trenčanka and the fairy Hojdalke, "said Eva Frývaldská, the executive director of KOCR Trenčín, about the point of the game.

Despite the fact that the target group of the activity is families with children, the search for swings will certainly attract different age groups, as according to the current trend, places that are especially photographically attractive are increasingly becoming a destination for tourism and trips. Among these, swings in nature certainly belong. Whether they are swings hanging on a tree, swings with an oversized construction, or swings in an unusual place, the common denominator is the beautiful views of the surroundings.

The illustrated map, whose drawings were taken care of by the skilful illustrator Veronika Guzoňová , is an important part of the game. In addition to the marked positions of the swings, it also contains a story about the elf Trenčanka and the fairy Hojdalke by the successful author of children's books Silvia Havelková . A nice story accompanies all the places where the swings are located and provides a little interesting or a puzzle for each place.

One of the dozens of swings is also a novelty at Trenčín Castle. The swing, which on this occasion KOCR Trenčín region installed in the lower courtyard of the castle, serves as a unique photo point with a majestic castle in the background and a fascinating view of the city of Trenčín.

"The trend in tourism is becoming exploring places through experiences, as well as at the castle. When the historical space brings more than just exhibitions, it creates an unforgettable memory. I think that taking a swing at Trenčín Castle will be a lifelong experience, " said Peter Martinisko , director of the Trenčín Museum in Trenčín.

Competitors have the opportunity to get to know all 10 swings from July 1 to September 30, 2022 . For each participant who discovers all the hidden letters, original socks are waiting and he will be entered into a draw for valuable prizes.
