The hot summer days are more and more akin to the seaside. Temperatures above 30 degrees in the shade automatically expel people to water. However, breathing is easier for her. And no one has ever figured anything better than cool down with water. There are two natural areas in our region - Green Water in Nove Mesto nad Vahom and Nitrianske Rudno dam. If you prefer to build on regulated water with controlled temperature and composition, you can choose from many swimming pools. Just decide if you want a busy resort with plenty of attractions, a relaxing atmosphere with thermal water or just go to your nearest swimming pool. Here's a couple of information that can get you in the heat.

Trenčín

It opened its gate in June for the first time in the new swimming pool in Trenčín. It was built in 2010 in the recreation zone of the island, but it was not completed with engineering networks - it lacked gas, sewerage and water. After removing the old summer swimming pool, Trencans stayed three seasons without a swimming pool. This year, the situation has finally changed. The new summer swimming pool has a capacity of approximately 2,000 people, with its swimming pool, recreational, children's and impact pool with slide.

Trencianske Teplice

The Zelená faba swimming pool is particularly attractive for its surroundings - it is situated on a hill above the town. In addition, the pool itself is partially carved into rock. The swimming pool underwent a major reconstruction and after a long disaster it began to work again two years ago. The Green Frog capacity is 600 people - you can also check your occupancy online at the website. In addition to the children's and swimming pool with water attractions, there is also a sauna world, a sports club or a restaurant within the complex. The swimming pool is open from Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 7pm, on Fridays and Saturdays until 8pm.

Bánovce nad Bebravou

On the outskirts of Bánoviec nad Bebravou is the thermal swimming pool Pažiť. Three swimming pools can be enjoyed by our visitors. The temperature of the recreational and swimming pool is 28 - 30 ° C, the children's pool has a temperature of 33 ° C. The swimming pool is equipped with stalls with food and attractions for children. Older visitors can play beach volleyball, table hockey or boxing. The capacity of the summer swimming pool is 1,700 people, open daily from 9:00 to 18:30.

Nemšová

Among the reopened swimming pools in the region, Nemšová was also ranked last year. In 2016, it underwent a reconstruction, where the pool was replaced, new technology and modifications were added to the buildings and areas of the swimming pool. The resort itself offers a relaxing swimming pool with three 25-meter swimming tracks and a three-track toboggan run. There is also a children's pool, a volleyball court, a children's playground, a trampoline, a ping-pong table and two buffets. The summer swimming pool in Nemšová is open from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 19:00, from Friday to Sunday until 19:30.

myjava

The Myjava summer swimming pool with a capacity of 450 seats is located in the Marečkova Street sports complex. In addition to the summer swimming pool, there is also a children's pool and indoor swimming pool. There is also a children's playground, a trampoline, a sandy beach volleyball area, a bedminton playground and a table-top table. There is also a multifunctional playground for basketball and football. Opening hours are daily from 10:00 to 19:00.

partisan

The summer swimming pool Pardubický Dúha was declared the best regional swimming pool in Slovakia in 2004. Located below the forest, near the sports hall and the winter stadium. Its complex offers a large swimming pool, children's wading pool, a seating pool, a swimming pool with attractions, a beach volleyball court and sand-pit. In June, it is open during the week from 13:00 to 19:00, on Saturdays and Sundays between 10:00 and 20:00. In July and August you can dine all week from 10:00 to 20:00.

Bojnice - Čajka

The thermal swimming pool Čajka is situated between the baths and the castle. Its visitors can take advantage of five pools - a 50-meter swimming pool, two children's pools and two stainless pools with plenty of attractions. During the season, the thermal water has a temperature of 26 - 33 ° C. There is also a children's playground on the grounds of the swimming pool overlooking the castle. Bojnice - Beach swimming pool

The swimming pool on Bojnice and Prievidza is open during the summer months. Its dominant feature is a large water area designed for swimming, boating, water bicycling and water sports. There is a children's pool and two large pools that are heated by solar collectors. In the area you will also find a rental of sports equipment, dance areas and refreshments.

Chalmová - Bystričany

The swimming pool is situated in a quiet environment, right under the Drieňový vrch Mountain Strážovská vrchovina. There are two indoor regeneration pools, built directly on thermal springs, all year round. Hot water with beneficial effects on the locomotive system comes from the springs that are on the bottom of the swimming pools. During the summer, the whole area - the caravan, the cabins and the hostel - comes up together with three outdoor swimming pools. The Chalm's thermal swimming pool is open daily from 08:00 until 19:00, on Thursday until 17:00.

Malé Bielice

The thermal swimming pool has grown directly in places where hot mineral water naturally develops. Balneologists have discovered three different springs, which have very beneficial effects especially on the locomotive system, the nervous system, the rehabilitation and the regeneration of the organism. You will find exclusively spa spaces, but also a swimming pool and aquapark. Facilities include a sauna center, water slides, a slide and a children's playground. The opening hours are from 9:00 to 21:00.

Puchov

The swimming pool has a capacity of 2000 people and should operate from June 23rd. Visitors can use one swimming pool and one children's pool. It is open every day between 9:00 and 19:00. There is a grassy sunbathing area for children, a playground, fittings, social facilities, refreshments and the smallest children's house with a swing, a bouncy castle and a trampoline.

Nová Dubnica

In Nová Dubnice there was a summer swimming pool, but it did not work for 15 years. This year a local town hall was launched to complete it. The new swimming pool is set to open in the first half of July. The 1.5-hectare area will also include a recreational zone and two sports facilities. Pools will be three-floored, which will be 25 meters long, an attractive swimming pool with four toboggans, and one for children.

Považská Bystrica

The swimming pool is located in the settlement of Lány. It is easily accessible both by public transport and by public transport. You can visit it every day from 10:00 to 18:00, and there is a 50-meter swimming pool and one children's pool. Within the complex, you can also play beach volleyball or take advantage of some of the buffets.

Novaky
