Dubnica night of literature

The largest literary event in the city of Dubnica nad Váhom will once again bring unconventional perspectives on the written word and will delight all age groups. The Dubnica Night of Literature starts at 4:00 p.m. with theater and creative workshops for children.

SpozaVoza – Ha-Hawaj! (4 p.m.)

Come and experience the unique atmosphere of the exotic Hawaiian Islands with professional independent theater in a play for all children from the age of five, full of music and humor.

Dominika Sakmárová (5 p.m.)

Dominika's second home became the Far East, which is the setting and subject of her books Korean Dumplings and Cat's Fur and Camel at the Great Wall of China. She has also prepared an engaging story about a remote corner of the world for Dubnica readers.

Archive Boy (6:30 p.m.)

In his songwriting, he deals with civil topics, which he approaches in a unique way not only in music, but also in terms of lyrics. So far, he has released three albums Zvery, Tranzit and Zapadákov.

Underground CZ (7:30 p.m.)

Reading from the works of Czech underground poets Krchovský, Bondy, Jirous, Topol and Smrčka. The unusual poetic acts will be accompanied by the local music group ZEP TEPI (acoustic jam session).

You can also look forward to the Summer Book Fair - book swap, creative workshops for children and other accompanying program. In case of bad weather, the program will take place inside the library.
