The restoration of the national cultural monument was the subject of an introductory conference, which starts a project supported by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021 and the state budget of the Slovak Republic under the program "Business in the field of culture, cultural heritage and cultural cooperation".
Trenčín County received a grant of 800,000 euros. After the restoration, the manor will not only serve as a museum, in which the history will be presented through new exhibitions supplemented by elements for the visually impaired and blind, but will also provide the services of a tourist information, cultural and creative center or facilities with a cafe. "The revitalization of this manor house will help not only preserve the historical values of the building, but also increase the number of visitors to this part of our region. The county co-finances the project in the amount of 1.7 mil. euros from its own budget, " said the mayor of Trenčín, Jaroslav Baška, on margin 1 of 19 projects out of the total number of 66 submitted, which were successful in the announced call. "Currently, a construction contractor is being procured, the deadlines for submitting bids are until 19 May. If everything goes well, including public procurement and subsequent inspection, we would like to start construction work over the summer, perhaps in August this year, " added the chairman of TSK.
