The twelfth annual Punkáči Deťom festival will bring four days full of punk, punk-rock, ska, reggae and rockabilly to the campsite at the ponds in Opatovce near Trenčín.

More than 60 bands from around the world will perform on two stages, including legends such as UK Subs, Cockney Rejects, Paddy and the Rats, Lion's Law, The Hillbilly Moon Explosion, Los Fastidios, Maid of Ace, Crim and others. From the home scene of the CZ/SK scene, festival visitors can look forward to proven musicians from groups such as Totální Nasadéní, Načo Name, Hoten Toten, Houba, Nežfaleš, Čad, Vision Days, Punkreas, Karpina, Hudba z Marsu or Nekultúra, in combination with young bands like Supertesla, Berlin Manson, Marhule or Rumaska.

The Punkáči Deťom festival was held in the years 2019-2022 at the well-known airport in the city of Trenčín. However, the current year will return to the original area in the campsite on the ponds in the village of Opatovce near Trenčín. "Many fans liked the original venue of the festival. It is more natural, cozier and "punkier" in a good sense of the word than the airport, it has even been renovated in the meantime. Compared to previous years, there will also be a B-stage and other attractions at the ponds." says festival founder Andrej Siget .

However, the Punkáči Deťom festival is more than just a musical event: an important element of the festival is also its social impact. The main motive of the festival is benefit - every year a part of the revenue from the entrance fee is donated as proceeds to help children in need through OZ Punkáči Deťom.

The festival also tries to spread awareness about the punk subculture, about its values of tolerance, empathy and mutual support. The festival also includes stands of non-profit organizations that are involved in solving acute social problems. Among them will be, for example, the STORM Association, the VLK Forest Protection Association and others.

The festival will take place on August 23-26 at the Rybníky Opatovce campsite, which is located 2 km from the Trenčín airport. You can choose a season ticket for the entire duration of the festival, as well as for individual days. You can buy tickets on the festival website www.punkacidetom.sk .
