On May 4, 2019, 100 years will pass since the tragic death of one of the most important personalities in our modern history, General Milan Rastislav Štefánik. He was an astronomer, soldier, diplomat and co-founder of the common state of Czechs and Slovaks. This is information that most of our inhabitants know about Štefánik. But do you know what his life was like, where he grew up or why he loved the Slovak nation?

The answers to these and many other questions are provided by comics - Milan Rastislav Štefánik, a cartoon story from a native of Košarísk by the authors Lenka Mlčúchová and Nina Abramovičová . In an unconventional and engaging way, they bring his incredible life closer in a playful way, which is suitable for both children and young people, as well as for adults.

The cartoon tells the whole life of Milan Rastislav Štefánik from birth to the tragic end. The plot is based on historical facts so that it is attractive to all ages. Unique are hand-painted pages in a full-color A4 publication in a total of 82 pages.

The authors of the comic are Lenka Mlčúchová, who created the lyrics, and Nina Abramovičová, the author of the illustrations. Both are very close to the personality of Milan Rastislav Štefánik thanks to the MR Štefánik Museum in Košarisky, where they worked. Thanks to the museum and the support of the surroundings, the girls decided to bring children, young people and adults closer to the incredibly varied life of this important personality in an unconventional and attractive way.

The cartoon of a native of Košarísk will be brought to life as part of a reverential memorial ceremony on May 4, 2019 in the MRŠtefánik Museum in Košarisky (birth house), where it will also be possible to buy comics.
