Trenčianske historické slávnosti

A story from 1528 will be celebrated at the Mierovo Square in Trenčín from Wednesday, July 20th to Sunday, July 24th, 2016. The historical center of Trencin will once again dress in period dresses. The 11th Historical Festivities will take you to civil war times, when the Hungarian ruler Ferdinand I called his best general, Johann Katzianer, to calm people and occupy the estate of John Zápoľský. The program of the ceremony will begin at 17.00 on Wednesday, 20 July 2016, at Mierovo Square . MR Štefánik's 136th Birthday

The Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic, the Slovak National Museum - the MR Štefánik Museum and the Košariská village are cordially invited to celebrate the 136th anniversary of the birth of the general, diplomat, politician and astronomer Milan Rastislav Štefánik . The celebrations will start on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 11.00 am with a festive act, which will include the worship of a prominent personality of Slovak history, welcoming guests and ceremonies. Gabriel Kain & The Ables

The band, who has been performing on the London Underground scene for several years, will perform in Trenčín on the Mierovo Square to play a baroque'n'roll concert that evokes the richness, diversity and diversity of the band's production. Porub derby

This weekend Porubská Valley will belong to riders, horse lovers and all cowboys. On Saturday, July 23, 2016 , you can enjoy the 17th event of the Porub derby , which will take place under the auspices of the Slovak Hucul Club Horná Poruba . Rezbářski majstri na hradě Beckov

Beasts of the Beckov meet masters of the woodcarvers who will show the visitor their "kumšt" and craft skills. Under the open sky, wood will transform into beautiful works, but they also discuss many interesting things about wood and working with it. The artistic experience in the visitors will certainly leave the author's exhibition of figurative work by the acclaimed master craftsman František Bolebruch , which will take place in the lower courtyard of the castle. A small visitor will approach the craft art "Ujo Hoblin" with his marionette theater "Pod hříbikom" with their carved wooden puppets, whose production they like to show.
