The publication from the workshop of the regional tourism organization Trenčín region "History yesterday and today" received a prestigious award. In the all-Slovak competition, "The most beautiful book and promotional material about Slovakia for the year 2022", which is announced by the Club of Photojournalists of the Slovak Syndicate of Journalists, it took first place.

The publication was created with the aim of presenting the original appearance of selected castles and castle ruins of the Trenčín region and the Zlín region. On his pages, he compares the current form of the castle walls with line drawings of academic reconstruction of castles. The reader will thus get an idea of the former form of these majestic residences.

The more than 70-page publication is the result of cooperation between the regional tourism organization Trenčín Region and the East Moravian Tourism Center. The organizations joined forces and created this engaging material as part of the INTERREG VA SK-CZ international cooperation program.
