The event, which regularly involves almost ten castles and ruins from all over Slovakia, will take place this year on August 18, 2018 in the Trenčín Region, namely Lednice Castle and Považský Castle.

An initiative to set up an event every year that worships national monuments has come from the Civic Saving Castles Association, which brings together up to 28 organizations from Slovakia, which are responsible for the reconstruction and rescue of 26 ruins of castles and 2 sacral buildings.

Already on this Saturday, August 18, 2018, visitors can enjoy themselves and culturally worship at Lednice Castle, which offers a rich program from 18.00 and lasts until ten o'clock in the evening. "In addition to the contemporary kitchen, it is possible to take part in the presentation of the Katarínkina project and the joke in the program adds the dismantling of the Mateja saddle, which will be taken care of by the choir group Hieraaëtus of Bojnice. The peak of the whole evening will be a medieval fire show at 21.00 h, "added Peter Martinisko, a member of the civic association Historical-Astronomical Society, whose purpose is to wake up the life of Lednica Castle.

The Považský Castle will not be lagging behind with the program even from 16.00. Children can enjoy the performance "Janko Hraško". The program also includes folk music Javorníček, baptism of the book "Život hradu Bystrica" ​​and falconarri falconarri. Of course there is a traditional sightseeing of the castle and creative workshops of the Vlastivedný Museum in Považská Bystrica as part of the accompanying program.
