On Friday, June 2, 2017, the Trenčian Region Day under the headquarters of the Regional Tourism Organization (KOCR) Trenčín Region took place in the area of ​​Golf Resort Kaskáda in the village of Kuřim (South Moravian Region).

For the visitors of the golf resort, but also for representatives of Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj (TSK) and the South Moravian Region (JMK), a presentation of the attractions of the Trenčín Region was prepared. The smell of traditional specialties, Myjavan folklore, the unmistakable taste of genuine Kopanic gastronomy and products filled the entire sports complex. The atmosphere perfectly complements the performance of the folk group Kýčer from Turej Lúka.

The spa, castles, castles and cultural treasures of the Trenčín region were presented by the regional tourism organization Trenčín Region in its stand. "The tourist attractions of the Trenčín Region are addressed by various groups of visitors and are also close to our Czech neighbors. The distance between our regions is really small, so we want to attract the inhabitants of the South Moravian Region to visit the Trenčian region as well. Visitors can not only discover, but also taste the Trenčín region, " said KOCR Trenčín Region Juraj Gerlici . The motivation to visit the Trenčian region was for visitors new promotional brochures and cyclomaps from the workshop of the regional tourism organization Trenčín region.

The sunny day full of music and enjoyable entertainment at the Cascade Golf Resort brought an opportunity for a working meeting of TSK Deputy Chairman Richard Takac with JMK Deputy Mayor Bohumil Šimko together with KOCR President Trencin Juraj Gerlici , KOCR Trencin, Executive Director of Ecu Fryvaldská and other members of the TSK and JMK delegations. On the occasion of Trenčiansky Region Day, successful projects of Trenčiansky samosprávny kraj were presented, such as the dual education system, the green project Green Zoo and the cross-border projects INTERREG VA.
