The Slovak National Museum - Múzeum Bojnice is intensively working on introducing modern technologies to the castle in order to increase the comfort of visitors. The upcoming news will improve the quality of services provided even for blind and partially sighted visitors.

Model of Bojnické Castle

Currently, the SNM-Múzeum Bojnice offers special access especially to blind and partially sighted visitors. A special model of Bojnické Castle is available to them. The customized model of the castle's architecture is made on a scale of 1:100. It contains descriptions in Braille that indicate individual parts of the object. Thanks to the model, visitors can get a tangible idea of the architectural structure of the building. The model of the castle is situated in the interior of the castle chapel on II. castle courtyard.

Blind and partially sighted visitors can take a tour of the museum's individual exhibits with the help of an assistance dog. Assistance dogs are exempt from the ban on entering the museum building.
