Journalists from Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia spent three days in the Trenčín Region to visit the most remarkable places in the region. They met Kopanice, Horné Povazie, upper Nitra and did not miss the surroundings of Trenčín.

The Regional Tourism Organization (KOCR) Trenčín Region invited Slovak and foreign journalists to present the tourist attractions of the Trenčín Region. The journalist's trip was attended by representatives of several print and electronic media focused on topics related to tourism, travel and lifestyle.

"We are very pleased with the interest of foreign journalists in visiting the Trencin region. The information tour represents a great opportunity to present the natural and tourist potential of the region and to show the most beautiful of what we are proud of. I am glad that thanks to this visit, our region will be written not only within Slovakia but also in the neighboring countries. I believe positive articles attract more foreign visitors to our region, " said the Executive Director of KOCR Trenčín Region Eva Fryvaldská .

As part of the information trip, the delegation recognized all four natural regions of the region. The first day of the trip was dedicated to the Copan region. Journalists visited the birthplace of a prominent Slovakian personality of Milan Rastislav Štefánik in Košarisky and his last resting place - the Mohyla na Bradle . An insight into the history of the traditional life and the living on the dances provided the visitors with the Gazdovský dvor , where they recognized the Myjavian costumes, local gastronomy and customs. An example of a functioning agro-tsunism was for journalists agropenzión in Podkylave with the adjacent Charolais biopharm, which, besides organic livestock and horses, also devoted to the organization of social events or camps for children.

When visiting the Trenčín region, it is not possible to miss the dominant Trenčín, which undoubtedly is the Trenčiansky castle , as well as the important spa Trenčianske Teplice with the newly reconstructed swimming pool Zelená žaba . A special place worth visiting was the village of Čachtice . The legendary underground corridors associated with Alžbetou Báthory, or wine tasting from the northernmost part of the Lesser Carpathian Area certainly gave the journalists a lot of inspiration.

One of the natural uniqueness of our region, which visitors have the opportunity to meet, is also Manínska tiesňava , located in the region Horné Považie. Admire not only the narrowest limestone canyon in the whole of Central Europe but also the diversity of fauna and flora.

During the visit to Nitra, journalists attended the tour of the Bojnice Chateau . The atmosphere of this historical dominance was enhanced by a group of falconers with birds of prey who presented a glamorous performance in the nearby Falcon area. The unforgettable experience of the guests was also made possible by the Museum of the Forefront , where the visitor returns to the Neanderthal and the Early People during the walk through the forest walkway.

The journalists did not conceal the enthusiasm of the tourist potential of the Trenčín region and they did not even think that the region would present their articles as a suitable place for holiday not only for individuals but also for families with children.
