In the summer, almost 7,400 passengers used the services of the historic tram, which operates on the Trenčianska Teplá - Trenčianske Teplice line.

Despite the unfavorable situation caused by the pandemic, which led to strict measures and the cancellation of several events, nostalgic rides enjoyed great popularity. The summer operation of the tram was even extended from two months' operation to three months. "During this period, 240 trains with almost 7,400 passengers were dispatched. This is an average of more than 30 people per train, " said Dušan Nosál, director of the non-profit organization Trenčianska elektrická železnica (TREŽ). In addition to taking the tram, passengers had the opportunity to diversify their program this summer by visiting the railway depot in Trenčianská Teplá. A traffic exhibition is installed in these areas. Its operation is taken care of by members of the non-profit organization TREŽ.

The icing on the cake is this year's anniversary of the Trenčín Electric Railway. Thanks to the support of the Trenčín self-governing region, the tram has been operating on rails for 111 years.
