The tourist destination Horná Nitra - Bojnice is traditionally the most visited in Slovakia. The Regional Tourism Organization REGION HIGH NITRA - BOJNICE, which currently has 70 members and is the second largest OOCR in the SR, contributes to this result.

OOCR members have prepared many events to attract and satisfy visitors to the region. These are events that connect the most beautiful Slovak traditions with new favorite forms of entertainment. These are, for example, 3rd year of the Bojnice summer solstice event entitled "Welcome to you" on June 17, 2017 in the Bojnice and Experiences Babka in Phase June 10 in Sebedraží, Magic Janske Night on 23 June in Opatovce nad Nitrou, Banícky jarmok 8th to 10th September In Prievidza, the Gajdlan feast of 20 and 21 October in Kľač and Bojnický Kračún from 15 to 17 December in Bojnice. Ing. Peter Juríček, in charge of the OOCR RHNB Board of Directors, expressed his expectations: "We are entering optimistically in the upcoming tourist season. I believe that all the preparations and aspirations of OOCR members, as well as other actors in the tourism industry in our region, will turn into valuable events and quality services, and visitors will leave our region happy and enriching the enjoyable experiences. "

To improve and facilitate visitor orientation, the OOCR RHNB is preparing and updating and upgrading the spatial information system and website. Major applications will be applications to mobile phones, allowing visitors to Bojnice and Prievidza to find the most valuable sights and places, read and listen to the relevant interpretation. Mgr. Ivona Vojtášová, Head of Business and CR Report in Prievidza, and OOCR RHNB Member of the Board said: "We realize that we do not have enough printed materials, we need tourists and visitors to the city and region to offer something new and attractive. The successful Zlatá prievidzská cesta project was used as a basis that will take the form of an interactive tourist guide in the form of a mobile app available in the offline version. Therefore, the visitor will not have to be connected to the Internet and will be able to view and hear comments on the ZPC's attractiveness in Slovak or English. " Besides mobile news, a new solid element has been added to CR infrastructure - it is a Children's Fairytale Theater in a Plenary in the Sokoliarov Area under Bojnický Chateau . It is the only theater of its kind in Slovakia with children's actors, with a capacity of over one hundred spectators.

Modern information technology and online marketing are also used by the Regional Tourism Organization (KOCR) Trenčín Region. The organization runs the tourist-information portal www.trencinregion.sk, which provides all the necessary information about the Trenčín region to tourists and visitors. "The KOCR Trenčín Region is undergoing a major change that will make it easier for visitors to plan trips in the Trenčín Region, and the Web will have a new, more transparent and graphically more interesting visual, and there will be a lot of new news as cycling and cycling are coming to the fore. The new web portal will offer almost 70 biking trails, detailed on the map, along with descriptions, photographs and the difficulty of each route so that each visitor chooses what he or she prefers, of course there are also demanding and less demanding routes, Which are suitable for families with children but also experienced cyclists, " said KOCR chairman Juraj Gerlici.

The OOCR RHNB is preparing for 2017 also professional events - seminars on two historical personalities whose life and work are closely related to Horná Nitra and their importance has greatly exceeded the regional framework. He is a priest, historian, politician, writer and collector Karol Anton Medvecký (seminar 28.9.2017 in Bojnice) and priest, teacher, educator of the Bernolákov period Juraj Páleš / Georg Palesch (seminar 21.10.2017 in Kľač).
