The building, which is unique in the spa town of Trenčianske Teplice, saw the light of day in 1888 and for many years had no competitor in Europe. The hammam in the past served as a bath for the wealthy nobility and financial magnates. Today it is available not only to spa guests, but also to the general public. The spa house was built by Ifigénia de Castries d´Harcourt, one of the owners of the spa. What led her to this?

The Skalka pilgrimage site is located on the road from Trenčín to Nemšová. It consists of two buildings: Mala Skalka with a Baroque church from 1745 built on a limestone rock, which is the opposite of the Trenčín castle gate, and the monastery - Veľká Skalka. Approximately 5.5 km from a quiet and popular place is a nature reserve. Do you know her name?
