Hundreds of children became brave knights and performed the task of saving the Princess of Dragon Captivity.
On the occasion of the International Children's Day Trenčín Museum in Trenčín prepared for children a journey through a fairytale castle. In the castle there were six places for small visitors, where each of them was waiting for a fairy-tale or historical figure with a prepared task. In order to get the children to the princess, they had to fulfill the individual tasks. As the creator of the script, Ľuboš Hamaj, says: "The main idea of the story is to help others who are moving towards the goal."
The staged tour began in the castle chapel where he spoke to the children of the dragon in a haunted atmosphere and put them in the story. Following a stop in the famine, the children helped Jonah to find the ax, for which he rewarded them with the gold. On the way to herbalist Hildegard, they met a hungry beggar, whom they had devoted to the gold, and they rewarded twice for this good deed. Then the journey continued to Jeremiah's tower where Captain Jeremias met, and in Barborin's palace children helped the blushing soul of Barbora Celjska. The last stop of the fairy tale was in the Summer tower, where the children found a prisoner of the Princess, but was guarded by a prudent guardian. In order to save the captive, they had to buy it from the guards with gold coins, which earned good deeds. The partner of this fabulous event was KOCR Trenčín, which donated small gifts to children.
