If you happen to have missed, forgotten or otherwise failed to ride a trencian tram or a blue biker with a cycling trainer, you have until Sunday 2 September 2018 when the weekend summer tram and cycle rides will be officially closed.

Throughout the summer of 2018, residents of the Trenčian region had the opportunity to ride a historic tram from Trenčianska Teple to the spa town of Trenčianske Teplice or to know the region thanks to a bus with a crowded cyclist. However, with the end of the summer season, the last cycling and weekend summer toboggan runs are inexorably close.

The weekend summer operation of Trenčianska elektrická železnica (TREŽ) has been extended since this year to state holidays. You can also make a nice trip to Trenčianske Teplice on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, during the anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising. If you have other plans for the holiday, you will find the tram on the traditional route even during the first weekend of September, when the weekend summer traffic of the tram will be completed.

The historic tram runs throughout the year with the financial support of the Trenčianský samosprávny kraj, which will be followed by two occasional trips after the weekend summer operation by the end of 2018. The first one will take place on 8 September 2018 and will be associated with a goulash cooking contest.
