THE NATIONAL CENTER OF WATER POOL in Nováky is the unique construction of a sports complex , which is worth visiting.

The whole modern campus was built in r. 2006 with two swimming pools , a tribune , an administrative building , three tennis courts with dressing rooms and a volleyball and children's playground , a café with a terrace , fitness and wellness .

The building was awarded by the Slovak Chamber of Architects the Architectural Award . The author is Ing. Arch. Juraj Kiaba.

The architect had the task of finding an interesting concept for this pool hall . An interesting moment of the solution is the bold moving steel structure of the bay, which allows the pool to open in summer and connect it to the exterior .

The swimming pool is comparable to that of the National Tennis Center in Bratislava, but the NCVP has a brave span of up to 48 m. It is covered by six semicircular segments made of polycarbonate, four of which can be electronically displaced during the summer period so that the pool can be opened during the summer season and covered in the winter. Thanks to this solution, you can use a water-pool pool throughout the year . There are also tribune halls in the hall, so it is possible to watch domestic and international games even in winter . The tribune capacity for visitors is approximately 450 people .

The main aim of the complex is to help the Slovak water pole , which certainly belongs to the European peak, to reach the international level . In particular, the home CLUB WATER POOL NOVÁKY has created quality conditions for its training.

At the same time, the whole area, except for training and matches, serves the public for relaxation purposes , in summer as a swimming pool .
